FAIR LAWN, N.J.– Greg Garnetto and Wendy Ommundsen of Fair Lawn met at a Rhode Island bowling tournament for deaf people in the spring of 2009.
Next fall, they'll be getting married.
"My friend was interested in Greg," Wendy recalls in the video above. "But he was interested in me. I'm a lucky girl."
"Sometimes she drives me crazy, but I still love her," Greg said.
The couple enjoys traveling, visiting friends, attending events for deaf people, and spending time with Wendy's four-year-old grandson, Alijah.
Greg proposed on Oct. 17, 2015. The wedding is scheduled for Oct. 7, 2017.
