GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- Remember books, parents? Kids still read them and enjoy them and Jim Morgan and his daughter, Sally of Glen Rock's The Curious Reader still love catering to them.
Morgan said Sally has an almost encyclopedic knowledge of subject kids crave. "Give her the smallest bit of a plot and she usually knows the book," he said. "Parents and grandparents frequently stop in with a variation on the following: 'My son/daughter/grandchild is a reluctant reader. Do you have anything that might interest them?' Invariably Sally will make a recommendation and the next day the parent will be back asking, 'What was in that book? My child will not put it down!'"
That said, here are some of the duo's favorite new books for various age groups:
