Community Rallies For Fair Lawn HS Student In Medically-Induced Coma

The community is coming together to aid a rising Fair Lawn High School senior who was hospitalized with a respiratory infection last month.

Tommy Alexander is making slow progress at Hackensack University Medical Center, where he was in a medically-induced coma earlier this week.

The teen faces a long road ahead, according to a GoFundMe page launched by Karen Sorrentino.

The page, which describes Tommy as a "respected hardworking and loving young adult," had raised more than $3,200 as of Wednesday.
