GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- For the 21st year in a row, Glen Rock residents will set off for a 4K midnight run around town on New Year's Eve.
The 11:45 p.m. run begins at the Rock and ends at Glen Rock High School, regardless of the weather, Banana Tree News reports.
"With your free entry, you will not receive a shirt, a plastic water bottle, a bag filled with a bunch of junk, race number or chip," the report says. "But you will receive the satisfaction of starting 2016 with a great run and fun time."
There's no registration. Anyone of any age can run, walk, bike, roller-blade or skate -- although the reports says most participants jog. Dogs are welcome, as well, Banana Tree News reports.
