FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- The Fair Lawn Veterans Affairs Department is hosting a Veterans Information and Outreach Fair, on Saturday, May 7, in order to assist Veterans in finding resources, programs and services that they may need.
This event is free and open to all veterans.
Some of the service providers include the Bergen County Clerk's office, Bergen County Veterans services, ESGR Employer support of the guard and reserve, and the New Jersey State Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.
Information or presentations will be available on the following topics:
- charitable organizations
- college programs and the GI Bill
- PTSD assistance
- readjustment and referral services
- employment
- female veteran services
- social services
- veteran benefit entitlements
- Veteran Health Care Network
- veteran home care
Veterans can RSVP here. An RSVP is not required, but it will help prepare enough seating for presentations, refreshments for attendees, and to contact participants, in case of any important updates or changes.
