GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- The Glen Rock Athletic Club is doing some major renovation work on its outdoor patio and lawn area.
The project will remove all the existing asphalt and lawn; grade and level the area; sod it; and install a paver patio, pergolas, fire pit, a bocce court and new outdoor furniture. The goal of the project is to make the Athletic Club even more of destination for Glen Rock residents.
The Athletic Club thanked Trustee Butch Gulmy and his company, Gulmy Construction, in a May 6 Facebook post, for donating his time and labor, as well as Chris Barton of CG&A Construction.
Monetary donations are welcome too: make checks payable to the Glen Rock Athletic Club, and give them to either Daniel Kehm or the bartender at the club. The organization will continue to document the project on its Facebook page. "Please be sure to follow along with our progress," the post notes.
