Authorities in Irvington are investigating a shooting that killed a 24-year-old township man.
Daquan Smith was shot on the 400 block of Grove Street just before 2 p.m. Thursday, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests had been made as of Friday afternoon.
