He is remembered for being a candid, "tell it like it is" kind of person and as someone who could liven up a room with a funny story. A lover of the outdoors, he enjoyed hiking and fishing around Ithaca Falls and Cayuga Lake in New York.

"For Craig happiness was standing in a freezing stream, pole in hand and friends close by as water slowly leaked into his waders," loved ones wrote.

A fan of the New York Jets and New York Rangers, he was remembered as a fun-loving uncle who spent hours with his niece and nephew, playing Legos, having dance parties and "acting silly," loved ones also wrote. He taught those around him not to take life too seriously, don't worry about what others think of you, and duct tape can fix anything.

He is survived by his mother Jean Miller; brother and brother-in-law Tim Miller and Carl Weiss; sister Lori Weiss; niece and nephew Gregory and Abigail Weiss; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is predeceased by his father, James Miller, and his beloved dog Shasta.

Arrangements were by the McCracken Funeral Home, Union.
