At approximately 10:20 .p.m. Thursday, May 26, Lakewood police responded to a Stark Street home after receiving the report that a man had been shot.
Police found a 36-year-old gunshot victim outside the home, they said.
Lakewood EMS advised that the male was struck in the upper left leg and that the wound did not appear to be life-threatening, police said.
He was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center for treatment.
No other details were released.
