A winter storm watch was issued for Saturday afternoon through Sunday afternoon across 10 counties, including Bergen and Passaic.

Snow is expected to begin Saturday afternoon, dropping between three to six inches on North Jersey overnight into Sunday morning.

Temperatures will rise briefly turning the snow to rain as precipitation tapers off, according to meteorologist Dan Zarrow.

Here is where the worst begins.

Temperatures sometime Sunday afternoon will begin to plummet, setting much of New Jersey up for a "polar vortex" Monday, Zarrow said.

Temperatures will reach the single digits and low teens, making it the coldest day in more than a year.

Oh, and get ready. Another storm could hit again mid-week, according to Zarrow.
