ENGLEWOOD, N.J. – A Teaneck ex-con already facing charges in two Englewood shootings was charged with a third.
Jamal “Mally” Robinson, 40, pulled the trigger during a 4 a.m. drive-by shooting on July 1 at the Forest Park Garden Apartments, Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said Tuesday.
A Jeep Grand Cherokee was struck, he said.
Detectives recovered six 9mm shell casings in the parking lot of the apartment complex and several discharged bullets from a Jeep Grand Cherokee that was struck, causing more than $2,000 worth of damage, Grewal said.
No one was injured, he said.
The shooting “was a targeted incident” and Robinson “was responsible,” the prosecutor said.
The two other shootings occurred on July 5 and 7, he said. One victim was shot in the leg and the other in the arm.
Robinson remained held on $1 million bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with attempted murder, armed robbery and various weapons offenses.
