Bergen County pet rescue organizations are seeking donations for several Louisiana shelters in need of emergency evacuations due to recent flooding.
Southern Paws, Inc. left for Lousiana Wednesday to deliver supplies to the shelters. Robyn Urman's Pet ResQ, Inc. of Tenafly has launched a GoFundMe page with a goal of $10,000.
"It's pretty much Katrina all over again," Southern Paws founder Ashley Gardenier of Ramsey told Daily Voice.
"These guys are part of the Southern Paws family. We won't leave them to do all this alone."
