Fort Lee's 'Movies And Music Under The Stars' Rocks, Rolls On

FORT LEE, N.J. – The Fort Lee Film Commission continues its 16th annual Movies & Music Under the Stars program each Saturday night through Sept. 3.

In case of rain, the program moves to the second floor of the center. Admission is free and attendees should bring lawn chairs or blankets as seating is limited.

Music and movie schedule:

Aug. 6: Music – The Swingaroos followed by “Hollywood or Bust” (1956)

Aug. 13: Music – Southside Johnny and The Poor Fools followed by “The Martian” (2015)

Aug. 20: Music – Doug Deming with Dennis Gruenling and The Jewel Tones followed by “Rocky” (1976 - 40th anniversary screening)

Aug. 27: Music – Michael Arenella and His Dreamland Orchestra followed by “Hail Caesar” (2015)

Sept. 3: Music – The Royal Teens: A 60th Anniversary Concert followed by “Cry-Baby” (1990)

The Jack Alter Fort Lee Community Center is at 1355 Inwood Terrace, Fort Lee.

The series kicked off with “A Christmas Story” on July 30.
