Esplanade at Palisades Hosts Concert Benefiting Purple Heart Foundation

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y.-- The Zydeco Festival is coming to Esplanade at Palisades on Sunday, Sept. 25., from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., with live music and special events to benefit the Rockland County-based military veterans through the Charles G. Mueller Chapter of Purple Heart honorees.

The Zydeco Festival will be headlined by the New York City-based Zydeco Revelators, a country-rock crossover group. The band has toured the Tri-State area and will perform their down South sound for residents of Esplanade and guests at the community. Tthe band is known for "delivering hot buttered Louisiana-style dance music" to Cajun music lovers across the region.

In addition to music, The Zydeco Festival will host dance lessons by Fran Berbette, a nationally recognized Zydeco dance instructor as well as a delicious display of Zydeco inspired food and beverages. All events are open to the public. 

The Zydeco Festival will honor service veterans, and all proceeds will be donated to the Charles G. Mueller Chapter of Purple Heart honorees. This non-profit organization benefits Rockland County based military veterans who have been recognized for their service. 

The Zydeco Festival will take place at 640 Oak Tree Road in Palisades, N.Y. Tickets are on sale in advance for $10 by contacting Esplanade at Palisades or at the door for $15.
