"I'd say our business increases by 15% on Super Bowl Sunday," said Chopstix owner and Teaneck native Elie Katz. "We make these giant trays of food with hot wings, oriental hot dogs, egg rolls, lo mein, chicken fingers and dumplings that are all great party items."

Katz, who is also a real estate buyer and deputy mayor of Teaneck, said he bought Chopstix as a "side passion."

"I love Chinese food and it was getting too expensive to eat out so I decided to buy this place," he said. What Katz likes most about Chinese food is how it's easily customizable.

"There are so many different tastes and I can customize my dish to fit any dietary requirement," said Katz, 40, whose eatery boasts an entirely kosher menu. "With Chinese dishes you can get them the way you want to the level that you want."

Katz said Chopstix can cater for as little as ten and as many as 1,000 people at a price of $8 to $12 per person.

"Whether you are hosting a party or you are going to a party it is great food," Katz said.
