Closed! Uniqlo Leaves Garden State Plaza Uniqlo has closed its Garden State Plaza location. The store is planning on moving to a smaller location in Paramus Park Mall later this year, next to the former Sears department store. Commonly known as the "Japanese Gap," Uniqlo has shuttered several other stores in the past few years (including the lower level at the GSP) at the Palisades Center Mall along with others in Staten Island, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and more. No word yet on the store's GSP replacement.
