CLOSTER, N.J. -- The Closter Recreation Commission announced its annual Little League/Girls Softball Parade and Opening Day will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 24.
All children in grades K-8 are encouraged to march in the parade with their team. The parade will start at borough hall and proceed through town to the George Potterton Little League field.
Children should be at the borough hall at 12:30 p.m. to march in the parade. After the opening-day ceremonies, games will take place at various fields in town.
Children will be notified as to whether they are scheduled to play on this date. All teams will be picked by Monday, April 18.
