School officials also suggest reaching out to Care Plus NJ, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Paramus.
CareOne provides comprehensive, recovery-focused integrated primary and mental health care and substance abuse rehabilitation services. It has facilities throughout the region.
“CarePlus, a local non-profit agency, is an incredible resource to support mental health, recovery and well-being,” Director of Guidance Matthew P. Spatz told Daily Voice.
"They have such programs as: a wellness group for teenage girls, a ‘parenting with common sense’ class for parents and a ‘freedom from anxiety’ group that helps teens learn coping skills — among many others."
