CRESSKILL, N.J. – Superintendent Michael Burke told the board of education the school district will improve communication by becoming more active on social media, NorthJersey reported.
Burke also explained other plans, such as security enhancement, and said that he was pleased with how the Cresskill High School/Middle School had handled an evacuation after a threat of violence, according to NorthJersey.
The paper reported Burke’s plans include the following:
- Improving its website
- Setting up a Facebook page
- Principals, superintendent, and athletic director will all have Twitter pages
- The district will publish the superintendent’s newsletter once a month instead of quarterly
- Enhance school security
