DEMAREST, N.J. -- James Santana, principal of Demarest's Northern Valley Regional High School, has announced that students will exhibit their artwork from May 19-29 at the Belskie Museum of Art and Science.
The opening night reception of the annual art show at the Belskie Museum will be on May 19, from 7-9 p.m., will also include light refreshments.
Each year, students from all grade levels showcase artwork that they have worked on throughout the school year. The show includes drawings, paintings, sculpture, digital, etchings, silkscreen prints and photographs.
"The Senior Service students are also involved in the process," Santana noted. "They matte, transport and put up all of the artwork in the gallery so that on opening night parents, students, administrators and teachers can view the beautiful artwork."
The display will be on view weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 1-5 p.m. The museum is located at 280 High St., in Closter.
