CRESSKILL, N.J. – Authorities charged a 19-year-old Cresskill man with having pot for sale after they raided his home.

James Reynoso was released on a summons pending a court appearance after borough and prosecutor’s detectives charged him with having marijuana for sale within 1,000 feet of Edward A. Bryan Elementary School and 500 feet of Cook Field, Bergen County Prosecutor Grewal said Tuesday.

Authorities raided Reynoso’s home on Friday after “receiving information that [he] was distributing controlled dangerous substances in the area,” Grewal said.

They found an undisclosed amount of marijuana, along with drug paraphernalia, the prosecutor said.

Grewal thanked Cresskill police, along with their colleagues from Dumont and the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in the case.
