CLOSER, N.J. — The Closter Police Department urged citizens to lock their vehicles and not leave their valuables inside due to theft of high-end cars from the borough.

"This is an extremely experienced and efficient criminal ring that canvasses the borough several times a week," police said.

The department was also trying to locate the owner of a bike, which  during a burglary investigation turned out may have been stolen from someone's property between June 3 and 4.
