Rose M. Calo, 94, Former Longtime Lyndhurst Resident

LYNDHURST, N.J. – Rose M. (Episcopo) Calo – a Verona resident, previously of Lyndhurst – died on Wednesday, March 15. She was 94.

Calo had lived in Lyndhurst for more than five decades.

"She loved life and ballroom dancing with her beloved husband Mario," information from the funeral home noted.

Calo is survived by her children, Joseph and Sheila Calo, and David and Susan Calo; siblings Louise, Nicholas and Rosalie; grandchildren Jason, Danielle and Lacy; and great-grandchildren Cameron, Alexis, Ariana, Evan, Colton and Brynna.

A funeral mass was held on Monday morning, March 20, at Sacred Heart Church, in Lyndhurst. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, in North Arlington. The Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, in Lyndhurst, assisted with arrangements.
