BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- M. Kathryn Scott -- a Forked River resident, formerly of Cresskill -- died on Tuesday, March 29. She was 97.
Scott grew up in Bergenfield and lived in Cresskill, before moving to Forked River in retirement with her husband.
"She had a great sense of family and friends, of which she had many," information from the funeral home noted. "She loved to send cards for all occasions and was the master of thank-you notes."
Scott is survived by her children, Jeffrey and Richard; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Scott.
Calling hours will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, April 1, at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Ave., in Bergenfield. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be at George Washington Memorial Park, in Paramus.
