CLOSTER, N.J. -- The former A&P supermarket in Closter will reopen Friday as a Stop & Shop, according to a report in northjersey.com.
The store was closed Thursday and will undergo a conversion into a Stop & Shop, northjersey.com reported.
The A&P in Closter was one of two grocery stores in North Jersey bought by Stop & Shop from A&P, based in Montvale, as part of bankruptcy procedures, according to northjersey.com. The other store that will become a Stop & Shop is in Kinnelon, northjersey.com reported.
