The Barn in Closter narrowly edged out other Bergen County eateries to win the DVlicious "Best Soup in Bergen County" contest. The Barn won with 34 percent of the vote, followed closely by Franco's Metro in Fort Lee with 33 percent and Allendale Eats in Allendale with 27 percent.

The Barn in Closter is known for its fresh, seasonal ingredients. Its chicken soup is especially popular thanks to the restaurant's proximity to a pediatrician's office.
