CLOSTER, N.J. -- Temple Beth El will host its "One Book, One Community" program on Tuesday, March 29.

This year’s program will be a discussion of A Backpack, A Bear and 8 Crates of Vodka, a memoir by Lev Golinkin and his family's defection from the Soviet Union in the 1980s.

Temple congregants Julia Nock and Susan Schwinger will facilitate the book discussion. Everyone who comes should be prepared to contribute and share their thoughts.

For information on purchasing a book, reserving a space, and future One Book, One Community activities, contact Bette Balsam at bsbalsam@optonline.net or call 201 767-5419.

The discussion will begin at 7:30 p.m.
