The senior center celebrated its 30th anniversary last year.

Letsche was in charge for more than two decades. The gala's theme is "Through the Years."

"The Gala, which will serve as a fundraiser for 55 Kip Center is also an opportunity for the community to honor Peggy for her many years of undivided service to the community," said Maria Johnson, the head of marketing and fund development.

"Our goal is to raise $50,000 which will be used to continue the Kip Center’s good works and sustain our Senior Center."

The gala will be at The Fiesta, 255 Route 17 South, in Wood-Ridge at 7 p.m.
