The NC Rams New Canaan All Sports Booster Club opened its 2015-16 fundraising campaign Oct. 4 seeking money to help the school’s 31 varsity, 19 junior varsity and 10 freshman male and female teams.

The organization was able to raise more than $142,000 last year, which helped pay for additional coaches. More than 70 percent of the high school population is involved in athletics. As a result, New Canaan has earned the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletics Conference Cup in four of the past six years.
