An Edgewater real estate agent told police that two men, one of them pointing a handgun, forced her into her home and took $61,000 in jewelry. The 41-year-old victim said she was headed to her car in the driveway of her Undercliff Avenue home around 1:30 a.m. Saturday when one of the bandits, about 6 feet tall with a medium build, came up behind her, pointed the gun and forced her back inside.
A somewhat shorter accomplice then joined them, she said. They were in and out quickly, making off with the jewelry from her home, a short distance from Route 5, the woman told police.
There’s little in the way of descriptions, said Edgewater Police Lt. William Skidmore, other than that the two were back and wearing dark clothes with their faces covered.
