CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- Flames shot out a first-floor window before Cliffside Park firefighters quickly put down an apartment blaze Tuesday afternoon.
No injuries were immediately reported in the two-alarm fire, which broke out in the 200 block of Washington Place just after 1:30 p.m.
Firefighters had the blaze extinguished within 20 minutes.
Fairview firefighters sent a ladder truck, while Ridgefield and Fort Lee remained on standby.
