Born in Croatia, Tarabocchia was a longshoreman with Local No. 1 in Newark, before he retired.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mirella (Tarabokija) Tarabocchia; children Albino and his wife Mary, John and his wife MaryJane, MaryGrace Rosenberger and her husband Arthur, and Mathie Tripani and her husband Lillo; and grandchildren Dennis and his wife Nicole, Zach, Samantha, Jonathan, Vanessa, Lindsay and A.J.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, at the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, 495 Anderson Ave., in Cliffside Park. The funeral will be from the funeral home at 9 a.m. on Saturday, then to St. John Nepomucene Church in Guttenberg, for a 10 a.m. funeral mass. Entombment will follow, at Fairview Mausoleum, in Fairview.
