John A. Padovan, 75, Cliffside Park Resident

CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- John A. Padovan, of Cliffside Park, died on Friday, Jan 27. He was 75.

Born in Hoboken, Padovan served in the United States Marine Corps during the Bay of Pigs. 

He worked as a salesman for Cross Mark in Oradell. He was a member of the Cliffside Park Men's Club and was a member of the Cliffside Park Board of Education for 20 years.

Padovan is survived by his wife of 54 years, Brenda (Callea) Padovan; children Frank and his wife Francine, Karen Burry and her husband Trevor, and Gina D'Amore and her husband Marc; and grandchildren Gianna, Danielle, Johnny, Julia, Brielle, Christopher, Michael, Leah and Marco. 

He was preceded by his parents, Frank and Carole, and his daughter, Toni Ann Nebbia.

The funeral will be from the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, 495 Anderson Ave., in Cliffside Park, at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31, then to Our Lady of Grace Church, for a 10 a.m. mass. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories, in Washington Township.
