HAWTHORNE, N.J. -- Edward B. Galli, of Hawthorne, died on Sunday, March 26. He was 79.
Born in Paterson, Galli was raised in Haledon before he settled in Hawthorne 48 years ago. An avid gardener, he enjoyed wine tasting and skiing.
Before he retired, he was a system analyst with Wells Fargo and Burns International Security Systems for many years.
Galli is survived by his wife, Catharine (Blaney) Galli, and his son, Ralph.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, at the Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Rd., in Fair Lawn. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow, at Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa.
