EDGEWATER, N.J.– New York Waterway built a new ferry that will carry an additional 25 passengers and will be used exclusively on the Edgewater route, Borough Administrator Gregory Franz has confirmed.
The new vessel will keep the trip to the 39th Street Terminal under 15 minutes, according to officials.
Larger boats used to accommodate additional riders took approximately a half hour to arrive there, officials said.
The ferry departs from the Edgewater Marina, 989 River Road.
