McDonald's Tests a Chicken McGriddle

Forget the Big Mac, McDonald's reportedly is testing a Chicken McGriddle in Ohio that includes a fried chicken patty between two pancake-like McGriddle patties, according to Business Insider.

A local owner, who has eight McDonald's stores, devised the new take on the McGriddle sandwiches, which reportedly are being tested at 11 locations in central Ohio and maybe several other locations across the country, according to Columbus Business First.

Although the testing is not corporate-mandated, with company sales surging thanks to serving breakfast all day, a new McGriddle seemed like a no-brainer. Existing McGriddle sandwiches include sausage and bacon varieties with cheese and egg, said Business Insider.
