Elmwood Park CEO Named President Of Bergen Volunteer Center

HACKENSACK, N.J. — Mike Stern of Ridgewood has been elected president of the Bergen Volunteer Center in Hackensack.

Stern is the CEO of Kriesler Manufacturing in Elmwood Park and a 2009 graduate of Bergen LEADS.

Mike Smith was elected vice president and Anita Rivers of Hackensack was named second vice president. Smith is the executive director of global risk management at KPMG and Rivers is an undergraduate adult and part-time admissions officer at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Kathleen Pless of Saddle River was elected secretary of the board. Pless is the vice president of commercial real estate lending for ConnectOne Bank.

Kevin Delaney of Paramus, Roberta Sonenfeld of Ridgewood, Jennie Smith Wilson of Ridgewood, Bill Mulaney of Hillsdale and Teri Chartounie of Englewood were elected to the Board of Directors.
