Instagram user MattTopp had been considering a dashcam for years and, after seeing countless videos online, made the purchase in 2018. He's glad he did.

Matt was driving down Brooklake Road last month when a sedan attempting a left turn off Brandywyne Drive came within inches of a head-on collision with his truck. The dashcam caught it all.

"For me, having the dashcam is both for serious and fun use," he told Daily Voice. "It both protects you from false allegations in an accident and can record the funny or cool things you see on the road."

Matt's video was shared on the Instagram account crashcamsback, watched by more than 10,700 people.
