BOGOTA, N.J. -- Last weekend, the the Bogota Public Library kicked off its summer reading program "On your Mark ... Get Set ... Read" with an Olympic-themed event.
Kids made their own torches and medals -- and competed in a few games. They then gathered around Mr. Skrnich as he read them a few stories to them.
The summer reading program runs until the end of August. Events include crafts on Thursdays and reading under the stars in August. For more information about this an other library programs, visit the library's website or call 201-488-7185. The Bogota Public library is located at 375 Larch Ave.
