RIDGEFIELD, N.J. -- The Borough of Ridgefield is having its National Night Out Against Crime and Picnic in the Park at the Ridgefield Community Center from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday.
Mayor Alex Suarez hopes the event will send a resounding message to police.
“Now, more than ever, law enforcement officers and their families need the support of their communities,” Suarez said. “Ridgefield wants to show the local and national law enforcement that we support them, and we honor the fallen heroes.”
The event is sponsored by Ridgefield PBA Local No. 30, the Ridgefield Municipal Alliance and Outback Steakhouse.
The community center is at 725 Slocum Ave.
