Learn Oil Painting Tips By Fair Lawn Professional

FAIR LAWN, N.J. — Artists of all kinds and levels can explore their creative side with oil painting classes taught in January at the Fair Lawn Art Association.

Professional artist and teacher David Buckbinder will teach an oil painting class focusing on landscape, still life, seascape and portraits. The class will be customized to each student’s level of ability.

Sponsored by the Fair Lawn Recreation Department, students can expect to explore his or her own artistic voice through the principles of light and color. Students will receive individualized instruction.

Classes will be on Thursday evenings from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m., beginning Jan. 14, and on Saturdays from 2 to 4 p.m., beginning Jan. 16.

Cost of a class is $18 and students can begin any Thursday or Saturday. Class supply list will be provided to each registered student.

Classes are held held at the Fair Lawn Recreation Center, 10-10 20th St, Fair Lawn.
