Closter Presents Third Annual Borough-Wide Yard Sale

CLOSTER, N.J. -- The Food and Assistance Board of Closter wants to help you sell those old items collecting dust in your attic with its annual borough-wide yard sale.

The Borough of Closter will play host to its Third Annual Town-Wide Yard Sale from Oct. 16-18.

The Third Annual Town-Wide Yard Sale will take place the weekend of Oct 16-18 throughout the borough. The Food and Assistance Board will advertise your yard sale, distribute a map/listing of all sale locations and the borough will waive permit fees for registered participants.

Closter residents can register by bringing $20 in cash or a check to borough hall, 295 Closter Dock, Road.The deadline to register is Oct. 13.

The borough also is sponsoring a food drive and needs non-perishable food or grocery items for the Closter Food Pantry on the ground floor of borough hall.

The Food and Assistance Board will e-mail a map and list of all participants' addresses on or before Oct. 15, and also will post the information to the borough's website. The organization also is offering 18-inch by 24-inch, double-sided, staked yard signs for an additional $5 per sign.
