Bring old paperwork to the mobile shredding event between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday at Slocum Skewes School.

Trucks will be inside the play area, next to the all-purpose room, at the school, 650 Prospect Ave.

Ridgefield officials said a limited number of bags will be accepted. Trucks have cameras that monitor the shredding to make sure everything is destroyed properly, officials said.

Throwing away personal documents in the trash can expose individuals to identity theft, Ridgefield officials said.
