Poughkeepsie Event Unveils Mid-Hudson Women’s Bar Association Officers

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The Mid-Hudson Women’s Bar Association named its 2016-17 slate of officers at an event last week at Mahoney’s in Poughkeepsie.

The officers were sworn in by state Supreme Court Justice Christine Sproat. The keynote speaker was Andrea Composto, president of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York. 

The full slate of officers includes the following local attorneys: 

  • President: ­ Danielle Strauch.
  • Vice President: ­ Lindsey Goldstein. 
  • Treasurer: ­ Melissa Manna­Williams.
  • Corresponding Secretary: ­ Marina ONeill.
  • Recording Secretary: ­ Danielle Fenichel
  • Directors: ­Debra Burg, Angela DiBiasi. 
“It is an honor to promote the advancement of women within our field and to participate in an organization designed to build a unified voice with respect to issues that are important to women,” said Goldstein, a partner at Goldstein & Goldstein LLP, together with her father, whose practice is focused on litigation involving car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, construction accidents, nursing home injuries, dog bites, trip/slip and falls and medical malpractice. 

Goldstein is one of many female attorneys who benefit from the events and activities of the local chapter of the New York State Women’s Bar Association. 

The Mid-Hudson Women’s Bar Association serves Dutchess, Ulster, Putnam, Columbia and Greene counties.
