The system is on track to arrive along the East Coast Thursday night, April 10, with precipitation continuing at times throughout Friday, April 11, and into the first half of the weekend, the National Weather Service says.
"With downpours embedded in the steadier rain, localized urban flooding could occur," according to AccuWeather.

This week’s weather has been characterized by temperatures plunging 10 to 20 degrees below historical averages. This has created a chilly atmosphere that is far from the norm for this time of year.
After a partly sunny start, clouds will increase on Thursday afternoon with the system arriving overnight before becoming more organized on Friday, with the highest rain from the system expected Friday night.
Precipitation will continue at times through around midday on Saturday, April 12, which will be cloudy and raw.
