Child Struck, Killed By Car In Gloucester City

A child died a day after being struck by a vehicle in Gloucester City, authorities said.

The child was struck at Somerset Street and Johnson Boulevard around 7:30 a.m. Friday, police said.

The driver remained at the scene, rendered aid to the child and was cooperative with police.

The child, whose identity was not released, was rushed to an area hospital where they died Saturday, police said.
