A fourth-grade student at Lore Elementary School died suddenly after a “courageous battle,” Assistant Superintendent Dr. Danita Ishibashi said in a release on the school’s website.
The student’s organs will be donated to help save lives as a tribute to his “unparalleled spirit of kindness and generosity,” Dr. Ishibashi said.
Those in need of support are urged to take advantage of the school’s counseling options. The district’s counseling services offices can be reached at (609) 538- 9800 ext. 2121.
“Please know that you are not alone as we navigate this loss as a school and district community," said Dr. Ishibashi.
