New Milford Employee Charged With Grabbing Young Co-Workers' Behinds

NEW MILFORD, N.J. – An employee at a New Milford business repeatedly grabbed the behind of one young co-worker and did the same to another while making lewd comments to her, said police who arrested him.

Police were speaking with Maurice Kearney, 27, of Newark, about the first report when a second victim told them she’d been grabbed, as well, Detective. Lt. Kevin Van Saders said Wednesday.

Both victims are 18, he said.

Kearney was taken into custody, charged with two counts of criminal sexual contact and released pending a hearing.

The news came barely an hour after authorities reported that a 19-year-old college student from New Milford was charged with sexual assault.
