Hackensack Motorist, 85, Plows Into New Milford Dunkin Donuts

NEW MILFORD, N.J. -- An 85-year-old driver from Hackensack escaped without injury after he plowed his 2004 Honda Civic into a New Milford Dunkin Donuts Monday afternoon, police said.

The damage wasn't significant enough to keep the business from reopening, police said.

No summonses were issued in the 1:17 p.m crash on River Road, which didn't cause extensive damage to the building, Detective Sgt. Kevin Van Saders said.

Borough firefighters and building inspectors responded and cleared the business to reopen, Van Saders said.
