Fire destroys Bergenfield garage

UPDATE: Bergenfield firefighters kept a garage blaze from seriously damaging houses on either side yesterday.

The Glenwood Drive garage was later razed by borough and Dumont firefighters.

During the fire, mutual aid was requested from Dumont, New Milford, Tenafly, Englewood and Teaneck. Also responding was the Bergenfield Ambulance Corp.
